Yes. Every published course is free to start while the courses are in testing. You need a free RecipeNest account so your lesson progress, unit badges and course certificate can be saved, but there is nothing to pay and no membership required.
Yes, a free one. A course route remembers which lesson you reached, which unit badges you have earned and whether you have finished the certificate, and all of that is stored against your account so you can stop and pick it up later on any device.
3 courses are published: Kitchen Core World (Beginner), Ramen World (Expert) and Pasta World (Intermediate). Each course page shows its difficulty, how many units and activities it contains, and how far through it you are.
Each guided lesson takes a few minutes, and practice missions are self-paced because you carry them out in your own kitchen. There is no timer and no schedule - a course can be finished in a few sittings or spread over weeks, and your place is saved either way.
Yes. You earn a badge for each unit you complete, and finishing every activity in a course awards a course certificate you can view and print from your account.
Practice missions are hands-on tasks you do at the stove rather than on screen - reproducing a technique the lesson just covered. They are self-paced, and they can be skipped if you would rather read on, so a mission never blocks the rest of a course.
